The Welding and Fabrication Technology programs at our Denver campus train students to develop the requisite competencies to start a career as a welder in construction, manufacturing, mining, agriculture and more.

Â鶹ÉçTech’s Denver campus offers two training programs for welding: a 720-hour Welding and Fabrication Technology diploma program and a 920-hour Welding and Fabrication Technology with Pipe diploma program. The additional 200 hours in the Pipe program focus on SMAW and GMAW/FCAW (MIG) pipe welding in specific positions: 1G-Rotated and 6G positions for MIG, and (1G-Rotated) position, horizontal (2G), multiple (5G), and multiple inclined (6G) positions for SMAW welding. The V-Groove welding technique is taught for all of these positions.
